Nona Source’s deadstock took center stage during Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2025.
This season, designers showcased a fashion that is deeply rooted in sustainability, mixing innovative textiles with a sense of responsibility. By prioritizing materials sourced from deadstock, they infused their collections with fresh vitality, offering a forward-thinking vision of contemporary elegance.
This approach not only reflects a commitment to the environment but also sets a new benchmark for the fashion industry. We had the pleasure of collaborating with Victor Weinsanto, Alphonse Maitrepierre, Vaillant Studio, Cecilie Bahnsen and Gauchere.
Here's a look back at their collections.
Victor Weinsanto – “Cauchemar en cuisine”.
Once again this season, Victor Weinsanto kicked off Paris Fashion Week with an extraordinary show held on the iconic rooftop of the Centre Pompidou, at the restaurant Le Georges.
The designer drew inspiration from unique textiles to craft a bold and quirky collection, blending prints, corsets, and outfits that reimagine the codes of the professional world.
He also reinvented his creative process, even going so far as to untangle our Twill Radzimir and braid it into plaits, dressing an ultra-feminine and unapologetically glamorous silhouette.
Alphonse Maitrepierre – “Let’s Play”.
Alphonse Maitrepierre celebrated the five-year anniversary of his eponymous label with a special collection showcased at the Maison de la Femme.
For this occasion, the designer returned to the roots of his brand, deeply embedded in nerd culture. Highlighting less 'noble' fabrics typically used for loungewear, he crafted an original collection that reimagines the codes of classic pieces.
Standout creations include a restructured marinière resembling a spider web, a fully deconstructed pair of jeans, and a dress with draping that forms the shape of a rose's heart.
Vaillant Studio- “Vaillantes”.
Vaillant Studio unveiled its new Spring-Summer 2025 collection at the Poste du Louvre.
The designer drew inspiration from a trip to Seville, celebrating the strength and power of women through vibrant and bold creations. The collection features generous volumes, evoking the raw passion of flamenco. Dynamic and structured silhouettes reflect the electric energy of the women who inspired the designer.
Staying true to its commitment to more sustainable fashion, Vaillant Studio aims to demonstrate that it is possible to create innovatively while respecting the environment by using fabrics sourced from surplus of luxury houses.
Cecilie Bahnsen- “The Crux”.
For the presentation of her Spring-Summer 2025 collection, Cecilie Bahnsen offered a poetic moment at Paris Fashion Week.
'The Crux', unveiled in a deserted Parisian apartment, was accompanied by a live musical performance and a projection of photographs by Takashi Homma. Inspired by the Japanese mountains, the collection blends technical elements with haute couture in collaboration with The North Face.
The combination of performance fabrics with the delicate touch of silk and organza, crafted into floral designs, creates a captivating contrast. Feminine, sheer silhouettes are juxtaposed with oversized waterproof jackets, offering a vision that is both raw and dreamy. Cecilie Bahnsen rises to the challenge, skillfully mixing contrasting styles while using fabrics sourced from deadstock.
Gauchere
Gauchere Unveils Minimalist Elegance for its Spring-Summer 2025 Collection.
During Paris Fashion Week, Gauchere presented its Spring-Summer 2025 collection in the heart of its own ateliers, offering a direct immersion into the brand's universe. Staying true to its minimalist and modern aesthetic, the collection plays with transparency and contrasts in materials, featuring monochrome looks that blend simplicity with originality.
Each piece is designed to be a favorite in any wardrobe, distinguished by meticulous cuts and exceptional quality. Craftsmanship, the quality of materials, and sustainability are central priorities for the brand, which collaborates with suppliers that ensure complete traceability and respect for the environment.
