At Nona Source, our mission to repurpose surplus fabrics, leathers, and yarns from the most prestigious luxury Maisons aligns with our commitment to supporting emerging creatives. With this vision in mind, every year, we host the Grande Braderie — a unique event embodying our dedication to sustainable fashion. This initiative offers students in fashion and design schools access to exceptional materials and is also open to the general public on the last day.
Supporting young creation
An event for students and tomorrow's creators
La Grande Braderie primarily serves as an opportunity for students from fashion, craftsmanship, and design schools to acquire high-end quality materials at symbolic prices ranging from €1 to €10 per meter, enabling them to bring their academic projects to life.
Understanding the financial challenges that come with certain academic pursuits, Nona Source strives to offer these fabrics, leathers, and yarns at unbeatable prices.
Exceptionally, La Grande Braderie opens its doors to non-professionals on the final day, extending access to these exquisite materials to a wider creative community and promoting responsible creation.
Repurposing materials to reduce environmental Impact
Since its inaugural edition in 2021, La Grande Braderie has helped repurpose thousands of meters of surplus textiles. Beyond being a simple sale, this event reflects our vision of a circular economy and our determination to reduce the demand for new production while empowering tomorrow's designers. By transforming surplus from the most esteemed couture Maisons into highly sought-after resources, we demonstrate that sustainability and desirability can coexist harmoniously.
